Police are searching Delaware County for signs of a missing group home resident who hasn't been seen since Monday afternoon, according to a release.
Nether Providence police say Jerry Miller walked away from his community home on Bullens Lane around 2:50 p.m. on May 8. Miller, authorities say, has a developmental disability and walks with a limp.
He is described as 5-foot-10 and about 135 pounds with a slim build, Nether Providence police said. He has brown eyes and short black hair, and was wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers at the time of his disappearance, they added.
Miller does not currently have the beard seen in his photo distributed by police, authorities noted. Investigators believe he may be headed toward Aston Township.
Anyone who spots Miller is asked to call 911 or submit a tip online through the Delaware County Crime Watch webpage.
